About me
Bridget Wallace York, MEd, is the Director of Curriculum & Student Services at Oak Farm Montessori School in Avilla, IN. She holds an AMS Secondary I–II credential and is a teaching fellow with the National Writing Project and the Center for Civic Education. A Phi Beta Kappa Honors Scholar, Bridget has also served as a Secretariat member and teacher trainer for Montessori Model United Nations. She was introduced to Montessori philosophy through the mentorship of Dr. Elisabeth Coe (PhD) and continues to share her passion for Montessori education as an adjunct professor at Trine University. Bridget presents regularly at regional and national conferences, including The Montessori Event and the ISACS Annual Conference. Her recent work focuses on ethical uses of AI in education, fostering balance and awe in learning communities, and supporting adolescent development in Montessori environments.
