About me
I've been teaching English for four years now, and prior to teaching I wrote professionally for KPC Media Group. Through KPC, I have had work picked up and published by the Associated Press in partner newspapers across the country. I will earn my Master of Arts in English in December from the University of Southern Indiana. My research on literacy stemmed from a course at USI and has also been presented at the College English Association conference this past March in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am passionate about reading, literacy, and making sure all students have the tools they need to be successful. When I'm not working or studying, I'm likely reading a good book or spending time with my husband and our two children.
