Lesley Jones Sessler is the Founder and CEO of Love of Literacy for Kids and Love of Literacy for Homeschoolers. An Education Consultant, College Instructor, and School and Homeschool Presenter, she has also served as a Teacher, Literacy Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. Named a Master Teacher by the NYC Department of Education, she was also the founding principal of Cleveland, Ohio’s first all-girls public elementary school. Her career spans schools and communities in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Indiana, where she champions children’s rights. A Published Co-Author of Healing and Growth and Contributor to the textbook Introduction to Teaching: Making a Difference in Student Learning, Ms. Jones Sessler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Union University, a Master of Science in Education degree with Specialization in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education, an Advanced Master of Education degree with Specialization in Curriculum and Teaching from Columbia University Teachers College and a Master's degree in School Administration and Supervision from The City College of New York School of Education.
