Storm into Summer | June 4, 2025
Wednesday June 4, 2025 9:45am - 10:30am EDT
As high school teachers, we're not really taught how to teach our students to read on a basic level. We expect their reading skills to support the growth in content understanding. However, we know many students continue to struggle with reading, particularly at the high levels of content in high school. Why does this happen? What can we do at the high school level to address this and support our students? This interactive session will explore the research as well as integrate opportunities for participants to discuss and share various strategies to help our students be successful.
