About me
I am a mother to three grown children (Gabe, Journey, and Joplin), a dog, three cats, and a leopard gecko. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from IPFW. I was finishing my Special Education degree when Covid started and haven't finished it yet. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade Special Education, 5th grade Gen Ed and I am now teaching 2nd grade Gen Ed. I just finished my Masters in Education focused on Trauma and Resilience in Education from Spring Arbor University. Leading teachers and administration about Trauma and Resilience in the classroom is my passion and I have given multiple professional development sessions within the tri-district area.
