About me
Bridget Wallace York, MEd, is the Director of Curriculum & Student Services at Oak Farm Montessori School in Avilla, IN. She is a National Writing Project teaching fellow, a Center for Civic Education teaching fellow and a Phi Beta Kappa Honors Scholar. She also serves as a Montessori Model United Nation Secretariat and teacher trainer. As a Montessori teacher since 1996, she is AMS-credentialed (Secondary I – II) and is grateful to have been introduced to the gift of Montessori Philosophy from her mentor Dr. Elisabeth Coe (PhD). Bridget has presented at the Montessori Event in 2006 and 2021 and presents regularly at the ISACS Annual Conferences. One of her favorite roles is Adjunct Professor at CMETU. Bridget works with all the credential candidates taking Montessori Philosophy. Bridget has a passion for travel and it shows as they have had their passports stamped in over 60 countries on 5 continents. She is an unabashed history nerd and her lifelong aspiration is to learn to play the violin.
